Job Purpose
The Associate for Human Mobility Infrastructure is responsible for supporting the AMEXCID in the execution of Result 4 of the PROCAP project, specifically concerning infrastructure projects related to human mobility. This involves collaborating on the review of infrastructure projects, assisting with budgetary and expenditure reviews for financial control, and accompanying supervision teams for architectural projects targeting migrant populations. The role also entails participating in meetings with contractors and authorities, and maintaining project documentation to ensure accountability and compliance with public audits. This position contributes to strengthening institutional capacities and promoting strategic alliances for development within Mexico's international cooperation framework.
Responsibilities
The Associate for Human Mobility Infrastructure will contribute to reviewing infrastructure projects in collaboration with authorized entities. Responsibilities include supporting budgetary and expenditure reviews for effective financial control of infrastructure projects. The role involves accompanying supervision teams for architectural projects aimed at migrant populations and participating in meetings with contractors, local authorities, and recipient communities. Work Experience
For candidates with a High School Diploma, 7 years of experience in public works or infrastructure projects are required. For candidates with a university degree, 4 years of experience in public works or infrastructure projects are required.
Skills
Experience in supervision or budget control of public works. Experience in quality control of materials. Experience in dialogue with contractors, local authorities, and recipient communities. Knowledge of construction regulations and public building standards. Experience in public works bidding, contracting, execution, and closing processes. Experience structuring technical files for audits.
