Job Purpose
The Project Analyst will provide substantive technical contributions and day-to-day operational coordination for a UNDP Uzbekistan project focused on sustainable development. This role involves working at the intersection of policy advisory and project management, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of project activities across three interconnected components. The analyst will support the integration of advanced tools, including AI, for planning, financing, and social protection monitoring, while coordinating with diverse government counterparts and development partners to promote policy coherence and address Uzbekistan's specific development needs.
Responsibilities
The Project Analyst will manage daily project implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes coordinating consultants, liaising with operations units, and maintaining project documentation. The role involves providing technical expertise by drafting concept notes, policy briefs, and research on integrated financing, green economy, social protection, and AI development. The analyst will support the design and review of AI tools and dashboards, synthesize consultant findings, and ensure quality assurance of deliverables. Additionally, the position requires maintaining effective working relationships with government counterparts and development partners, coordinating multi-stakeholder dialogues and events, and supporting UNDP leadership representation. The role also encompasses establishing and maintaining the project's monitoring and evaluation system, ensuring data collection, preparing progress reports, and documenting lessons learned and communication materials.
Work Experience
A Master's degree holder requires no professional work experience. A Bachelor's degree holder must have at least two years of relevant professional experience in development project coordination, policy advisory, or programme management within inclusive growth, public finance, social protection, climate finance, or sustainable development.
