Job Purpose
This role supports the effective implementation of the "Economic Development for Peacebuilding" project, specifically focusing on the "Social Public Policy for Street Dwellers" initiative. The Technical Associate will provide expert technical knowledge on the operation, implementation, and coordination of services for people experiencing homelessness. The purpose is to enhance the coherence, relevance, and operational viability of project activities, contributing to effective, sustainable, and rights-based implementation of the policy. The role acts as a transversal technical reference, facilitating coordination among stakeholders, identifying operational bottlenecks, and ensuring project actions align with territorial realities and the life trajectories of the target population.
Responsibilities
The Technical Associate will strengthen coordination among project implementers and service providers for comprehensive care of the target population. This includes supporting inter-institutional articulation between public entities, social organizations, and service providers. The role involves convening and facilitating technical coordination and institutional strengthening spaces, participating in planning sessions, and ensuring smooth information exchange. Analysis of service performance and operational functioning of street dweller support systems will be conducted to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. The Associate will monitor project action implementation, generate inputs for decision-making, and support capacity building through training and knowledge sharing. This includes systematizing best practices and lessons learned, and contributing to the dissemination of project knowledge and tools.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required, preferably in social protection, public policy implementation, or working with vulnerable populations. Experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement within the Colombian context is highly desirable.
