Organizational Context

The Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTF Office), hosted by UNDP, is a UN unit dedicated to designing and administering multi-stakeholder pooled financing instruments. It supports over 200 UN-implemented pooled funds, managing a portfolio of nearly $20 billion. The MPTF Office provides professional, transparent fund administration services and operates as a distinct business unit offering integrated services including data analytics and knowledge management.

Job Purpose

The Communications and Digital Analyst will enhance the visibility and impact of the MPTF Office's communication initiatives by developing key communication assets and digitally supporting its operations. This role focuses on providing editorial and technical assistance for the MPTFO Gateway website, maintaining communication platforms, and supporting various communication campaigns. The analyst will contribute to the digitalization of MPTFO services, including supporting the development of an AI agent for fund data, enhancing the Gateway platform, and expanding the learning toolkit. They will also coordinate content for key communication platforms, manage social media outreach, and support stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing to ensure effective communication and data utilization.

Responsibilities

Provide digital and AI support for the MPTFO Gateway site, including promoting the FAS modality, coordinating standardized project templates, and offering technical assistance for platform digitalization. Support the development of an AI agent trained on fund data and validate results digitally. Expand the GWIP learning toolkit for internal and external users. Coordinate key communication platforms by supporting back-end functionality, developing data visualization methods, and managing fund narratives, blog posts, and interviews. Develop and coordinate engaging social media content for platforms like X and LinkedIn to amplify initiatives. Provide editorial and administrative support for annual reports. Act as a digital communications focal point, manage the MPTFO inbox, and track partner inquiry trends. Liaise with partners to validate AI-organized results and collate inputs for visibility campaigns. Maintain and optimize digital relationship management databases and analyze web traffic and campaign analytics to support data-driven decisions. Conduct basic partnership analyses and synthesize best practices and lessons learned.

Work Experience

Master's degree holders are not required to have professional work experience. Bachelor's degree holders must have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in communications, public relations, advocacy, or a related field. Desired experience includes managing CMS (preferably Drupal), professional social media platforms, MS Office packages, AI tools, UN system or international development organizations, and pooled funding mechanisms.
