Organizational Context
This role supports the project "Strengthening Capacities for Economic Development and Implementation of SDGs," a collaboration between the Government of Mexico and the UN Development Programme (UNDP). Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Directorate General within the framework of the "Strengthening Capacities for Economic Development and Implementation of SDGs" project. This involves assisting in the organization of high-level meetings, events, and visits, ensuring the timely preparation of materials, and facilitating effective communication and coordination among various internal and external stakeholders. The role contributes to the overall success of Mexico's economic diplomacy initiatives and the strengthening of institutional alliances by ensuring smooth operational execution and efficient information management.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include providing logistical support for meetings, events, visits, and institutional activities. This involves assisting with agenda preparation and operational requirements, and preparing informational materials, minutes, and binders for high-level meetings. The role also entails supporting the consolidation and coordination of information across different directorates to ensure timely material preparation and follow-up on agreements. Maintaining constant communication and coordination with internal areas, government agencies, and external stakeholders is crucial. Additionally, the position supports the organization and systematization of strategic and administrative information for the Directorate General.
Work Experience
For candidates with a high school diploma, 2 years of experience in administration, operational management, or related fields are required. Candidates with a university degree (Licenciatura) do not require prior experience.
Skills
Effective communication (oral and written), time management, crisis management, organization, attention to detail, inter-institutional coordination, multidisciplinary team collaboration, proficiency in digital tools and MS Office, ability to manage multiple tasks, discretion with sensitive information, proactivity, and anticipation of operational needs.
