Job Purpose
This internship program aims to provide practical experience across multiple UNDP Bhutan units, including Environment and Livelihoods, Governance and Advocacy, Communications, and Finance. Interns will support the Country Office in delivering integrated development solutions aligned with national priorities and the SDGs. The role contributes to achieving UNDP's strategic objectives by assisting in research, data management, event coordination, financial administration, and communications. Responsibilities
Interns will provide crucial support across several functional areas. This includes conducting desk research on topics like climate resilience and digital transformation, and compiling project documentation. They will assist in planning and coordinating workshops, meetings, and events, including preparing agendas and minutes. Data management support involves data collection, entry, basic analysis, and maintaining databases. Financial and administrative tasks include assisting with transaction processing, budget monitoring, and general administrative duties. Communications support involves content development for various platforms, designing visibility materials, and managing social media. Interns will also document project activities and perform other assigned duties to support program and operational needs.
Work Experience
