Organizational Context
The role supports the "Sembrando Vida" and "Juntos por el Bienestar" projects in Central America and the Caribbean, part of Mexico's international cooperation commitments. The position is within the General Directorate of International Cooperation Projects for Development, Agreements, and Scholarships, operating across El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, and Cuba.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to provide essential support for the review of records submitted for the "Sembrando Vida" and "Juntos por el Bienestar" projects. This includes assisting in the verification and cleansing of applicant information, validating eligibility against operational guidelines, and compiling beneficiary data. The role also contributes to the maintenance of the project's archive, ensuring efficient operations and data integrity. By meticulously processing records, the position directly contributes to the successful implementation and transparent management of these significant international cooperation initiatives aimed at fostering development and well-being in the region.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting the verification and cleansing of applicant data, ensuring completeness and consistency, and identifying/correcting errors, duplications, or inconsistencies. The role involves assisting in the validation of applicant eligibility based on established project guidelines and preliminary status determination. Additionally, the position will help compile and organize validated beneficiary information, including demographic and location data, for project coordination. This involves maintaining accurate records and ensuring traceability and transparency throughout the process. The incumbent will also perform other related duties as required to ensure the efficient functioning of the office and the organization.
Work Experience
For candidates with a high school diploma, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required in public administration, business administration, management, human resources, accounting, or a related field. Candidates with a completed university degree are not required to have prior experience, but it will be considered.
Skills
Experience supporting government offices (federal, state, or municipal) or public sector entities. Experience assisting in the implementation of international cooperation projects. Experience with social programs or government support initiatives. Desired skills include report writing, document reception, registration, handling, and digital/physical file management.
