Organizational Context
The UNDP, in partnership with Brazil's National Justice Council, implements the "Programa Justiça Plural." This program aims to strengthen the Brazilian Judiciary's capacity in human rights, socio-environmental protection, and access to justice, focusing on vulnerable populations and integrating the 2030 Agenda's environmental, social, and governance principles.
Job Purpose
The Knowledge Management Associate will develop and implement knowledge management and results dissemination strategies for the "Programa Justiça Plural." This role is crucial for enhancing the program's national and international impact and visibility. The associate will support the registration, documentation, systematization, and monitoring of program activities, collaborating with institutional stakeholders to consolidate and share generated knowledge. The position is home-based and open to applicants from anywhere in Brazil, reporting to the Training and Knowledge Management Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing knowledge management strategies to maximize program impact and dissemination. This involves identifying, systematizing, and sharing lessons learned, best practices, and knowledge products. The role requires producing and editing technical reports, concept notes, and other program-related materials, and coordinating the standardization and registration of technical publications. Strategic management, monitoring, and evaluation are also core duties, involving the development of specific management strategies for measuring program actions and results, tracking progress, and generating regular reports. The associate will document processes, methodologies, and results, ensuring information accessibility, and will facilitate communication and integration among institutional actors. Support for organizing events, trainings, and creating technical content for awareness campaigns is also expected.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience is required with a High School Diploma, or 4 years with a University Degree. Experience should be in knowledge management, information management, project management, project monitoring, institutional liaison, event organization, and training, or related areas. Experience with public sector entities, particularly the Judiciary, is desired.
Skills
Proficiency in Information Technology and MS Office suite. Experience in knowledge management, information management, and document management. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with access to justice, human rights, socio-environmental rights, vulnerable populations, or social policies. Fluency in Portuguese is required; basic English is desirable.
