Job Purpose

The role also includes providing advisory support on renewable energy solutions to enhance energy performance and sustainability in public buildings across Ukraine, contributing to the country's resilience and recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
The Energy Audit Analyst is responsible for promoting the UPBEE Programme and assisting municipalities with sub-project preparation, including advising on energy efficiency indicators and feasibility. This includes reviewing applications and providing guidelines. The role involves conducting energy audits by analyzing building performance, collecting and analyzing data, preparing audit reports with recommendations, and issuing energy certificates. Additionally, the analyst will oversee the implementation of audit recommendations, perform quality assurance on technical designs, conduct site visits for verification, and support the monitoring of construction works. Technical advisory support on energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions to project teams and beneficiaries is also a key responsibility.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in conducting energy audits and related areas is required for candidates with a Master's degree. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Experience in conducting energy audits in public buildings, engineering supervision, or project monitoring is considered an asset.
Skills
Proficiency in computer usage and office software (MS Word, Excel), knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages. Ability to advise on energy efficiency indicators, conduct energy audits, analyze data, and prepare reports. Familiarity with national construction legislation and standards is desirable. Knowledge of renewable energy solutions is an advantage.
