The role contributes to strengthening institutional alliances and supporting Mexico's strategic economic priorities in the international arena, particularly within the context of global economic reconfigurations and regional economic dialogues.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include monitoring international economic issues concerning North America, particularly Mexico's economic ties with the US and Canada. This involves preparing briefing materials, notes, and other support documents for meetings, official visits, and economic diplomacy activities. The role requires gathering, systematizing, and tracking information from Mexican representations abroad, accredited embassies, federal government agencies, and business organizations. Additionally, it involves supporting the preparation and follow-up of high-level meetings, economic dialogues, and economic linkage activities related to North America, as well as conducting research and analysis on trade, investment, economic cooperation, and regional competitiveness.
Work Experience
Candidates with a high school diploma require 4 years of experience. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require 1 year of experience. Relevant experience areas include international economics, data visualization, statistical analysis, and related fields. Desired experience includes knowledge of Mexico's economic relationship with North America, the T-MEC, and public administration.
Skills
Required skills include effective communication (oral and written), time management, information analysis and synthesis, basic knowledge of macroeconomics, international trade, and foreign investment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, organize, and plan.
