Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Serbia supports the Ministry of Finance in strengthening institutional capacity for economic reforms and EU accession. This role supports the Ministry of Finance in managing and monitoring the EXPO BELGRADE 2027 capital investment project, a national priority aimed at boosting Serbia's economic outlook and international image.
Job Purpose
The Technical Analyst for Project Delivery and Investment Monitoring will support the Ministry of Finance in Serbia, with a specific focus on the EXPO BELGRADE 2027 project. The role involves assessing and monitoring project management methodologies, ensuring quality assurance and timely delivery of project components. It also includes providing strategic recommendations to enhance operational workflows and quality control mechanisms for capital investments. The position contributes to strengthening the Ministry's capacity in managing economic reforms and accession negotiations, aligning with Serbia's progress towards EU membership.
Responsibilities
The role involves assessing operational project management methodologies for capital investment projects, particularly those related to the EXPO BELGRADE 2027. Key duties include monitoring project implementation against timelines and objectives, and developing/overseeing quality management frameworks. The analyst will proactively track project milestones and resource allocation for successful and timely delivery. Additionally, the position requires formulating and presenting recommendations to the Ministry of Finance for enhancing operational workflows and quality control. Stakeholder coordination, participation in meetings, and supporting public promotion of the EXPO projects are also crucial. Facilitating knowledge sharing, organizing training, documenting best practices, and contributing to knowledge networks are integral to the role.
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in Quality Management & Assurance and project management is required for candidates with a Master's degree. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require a minimum of 4 years of such experience.
