Job Purpose
This role contributes to strengthening capacities through education and employment, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 4, 8, 10, and 17. The objective is to address requirements and gaps in productive transformation initiatives by enhancing public-private articulation, lifelong learning recognition, and educational/labor mobility. The position aims to equip individuals with specific knowledge and transversal skills, enabling them to enter or improve their opportunities in the labor market, thereby increasing income generation, reducing multidimensional poverty, and fostering greater well-being and human development.
Responsibilities
The Technical Associate in Employability will technically contribute to planning, programming, and implementing labor market development projects. This includes analyzing and strengthening planning processes, designing strategies, and managing project implementation with transparency and accountability. The role involves designing and implementing capacity gap assessments and development processes, applying diagnostic methodologies, and guiding national and territorial teams. It also requires implementing and strengthening supervision, monitoring, and coordination mechanisms, ensuring data quality and fostering inter-institutional articulation. Furthermore, the associate will incorporate differential and inclusion approaches in planning and execution, promoting the participation of vulnerable groups and identifying strategic actors. Finally, the role involves contributing to the creation, exchange, and development of relevant capacities through training and knowledge sharing.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in project implementation, capacity building, or labor market development is required. Experience working with vulnerable populations and in international development contexts is desirable.
