The Innovation & Effectiveness unit focuses on digital transformation and fostering inclusive, resilient digital ecosystems. This role supports the coordination of technology and innovation initiatives, ensuring quality implementation and alignment with UNDP's strategic objectives.

Job Purpose

The Analyst in Innovation and Digital Transformation will coordinate assigned initiatives, components, or projects efficiently and effectively. This role contributes to the successful development and implementation of technology and innovation projects, ensuring alignment with established methodologies and the achievement of expected results. The position involves deep research, community engagement, solution management, experimentation, prototyping, and communication of learnings. It aims to integrate innovation methodologies into institutional processes, provide technical assistance, and strengthen the organization's innovation capabilities to support sustainable development efforts in Honduras.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research and community immersion to understand needs and contexts, building relationships with local stakeholders. Design and manage mechanisms for idea selection, solution evaluation, and prioritization, including field testing and prototyping. Lead communication strategies to share learnings and findings, ensuring ethical practices and transparency. Facilitate knowledge exchange and utilize various media to showcase experiences and attract partners. Integrate innovation methodologies into institutional processes, provide technical assistance and training, and develop tools for data-driven decision-making. Systematize practices and methodologies to enhance organizational innovation capacity and facilitate learning spaces based on evidence and field experiences.

Work Experience

Experience in coordinating technology and innovation projects, conducting field research, and engaging with diverse communities. Proven ability to design and manage innovation processes, including prototyping and experimentation. Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and providing technical assistance is required.
