The EU4Dialogue Phase II project, funded by the EU and implemented by UNDP in Armenia, aims to foster local and regional cooperation and sustainable peace. It supports civil society-led initiatives through grants and promotes regional dialogue via targeted interventions. This role supports the Armenia component, managed by a country-level team, by strengthening field-level implementation capacity.
Job Purpose
The Local Field Coordination Analyst will support the EU4Dialogue Phase II project in Armenia by strengthening its field-level implementation. This part-time role (70%) involves coordinating and executing field activities, organizing processes, preparing documentation for decision-making, and systematically capturing and following up on information from communities and local stakeholders. The analyst will play a key role in supporting the grant scheme by coordinating outreach, facilitating information sessions, and conducting preliminary reviews of grant proposals. Additionally, the role involves monitoring project-supported activities, collecting field-based ideas for potential Flexible Facility interventions, and contributing to project reporting and knowledge sharing. The position operates under the supervision of the Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day field coordination with local authorities, CSOs, and community actors, planning and participating in field visits and consultations, and ensuring inclusive engagement with vulnerable groups. The role involves coordinating outreach for Calls for Proposals, organizing information sessions, and collecting feedback from potential applicants. A significant duty is the preliminary administrative and eligibility review of grant proposals, preparing screening matrices, and summarizing findings for the Project Coordinator. The analyst will also conduct monitoring visits to project sites, verify implementation progress, document observations, and flag any operational or safeguarding issues. Furthermore, the role entails proactively collecting and documenting ideas for Flexible Facility interventions from the field, maintaining relevant lists, and supporting project reporting, documentation, and knowledge sharing through concise reporting and updates.
Work Experience
Applicants with a master's degree are not required to have professional experience. Those with a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in areas such as project implementation, field coordination, community engagement, grants management, or proposal review.
