Job Purpose

The Data Management Analyst will provide continuous technical support and capacity building to project teams, partners, and public institutions in data analysis and management for risk management, forecasting, and early response. A key objective is to ensure the establishment and operationalization of a multi-risk situation room within the Directorate General of Civil Protection (DGPC), contributing to reduced impacts of climate shocks on populations and livelihoods in Chad. This role is crucial for enhancing the national early warning system and disaster preparedness.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include providing technical assistance and capacity building in data analysis and management for risk awareness, forecasting, and early response. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining databases and data management systems, particularly for disaster preparedness.
