Organizational Context
The UNDP PROCAP program, active since 2013, supports Mexico's international cooperation for development (CID) efforts, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 17. In its third phase (2019-2025), it aims to enhance AMEXCID's institutional capacity, strengthen its CID policy, and foster strategic alliances. The role is part of the Executive Directorate, contributing to international economic and technical cooperation initiatives.
Job Purpose
This role supports the AMEXCID-PNUD cooperation program (PROCAP) by contributing to the institutional consolidation of AMEXCID and strengthening South-South cooperation in Mexico. The purpose is to enhance institutional capacities for CID management, bolster Mexico's CID policy (both receiving and offering), promote strategic development alliances, and support the Integral Development Plan. The position will focus on developing IT frameworks, advising on digital service contracts for budget efficiency, planning digital service ecosystems for traceability, and integrating results-based management for institutional modernization aligned with the 2030 Agenda.
Responsibilities
Develop internal IT management frameworks and policies aligned with AMEXCID systems. Provide advisory support for analyzing and consolidating digital service contracts to achieve budgetary efficiency. Plan and oversee the design and implementation of digital service ecosystems and technological tools to facilitate document traceability and the management of International Cooperation for Development. Integrate results-based management approaches into project planning to ensure institutional modernization measurably contributes to Agenda 2030 objectives. Coordinate, supervise, and follow up on activities related to international economic organizations, bilateral economic relations, and technical, scientific, educational, and cultural cooperation.
Work Experience
For candidates with a High School Certificate, 7 years of experience in institutional management and information technologies are required. For candidates with a university degree, 4 years of experience in institutional development, IT, and management systems implementation are required.
