Job Purpose
This internship aims to provide students and recent graduates with direct exposure to UNDP's work and gain technical knowledge in international development and multilateral cooperation. The intern will support the Governance and Gender Programme at the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre. Key contributions include assisting in research, document production, communications material design, event organization, and translation. The role supports the centre's mandate of facilitating knowledge exchange and partnerships to address development challenges, particularly in governance and gender-related areas, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Responsibilities
The intern will primarily support Governance and Gender Programme activities (90%), including conducting research and producing various documents such as reports, web materials, social media cards, briefs, and presentations on topics like anti-corruption, digital governance, sexual and gender-based violence, and access to justice. Responsibilities also include documenting and translating Korea's policy tools, designing communications materials, writing, editing, and proofreading documents, and supporting the organization of partnership meetings and events like webinars and workshops. Additionally, the intern will assist with logistical arrangements, translation between English and Korean, and provide general office support. The remaining 10% involves supporting other ad-hoc activities as needed.
Work Experience
