Job Purpose
The Technical Analyst for Strategic Management will support the Ministry of Finance in Serbia, with a primary focus on the review and monitoring of the EXPO BELGRADE 2027 project. This role is crucial for ensuring the strategic alignment, effective implementation, and optimal resource allocation of this significant national capital investment. The analyst will provide high-level advisory services, monitor project lifecycles from a macro-strategic perspective, and facilitate coordination among various stakeholders to ensure the project's success and contribute to Serbia's progress towards EU membership.
Responsibilities
The role involves evaluating the strategic aspects of EXPO capital investment projects, including feasibility studies and socio-economic impacts, and providing strategic recommendations to MoF management on project governance and risk mitigation. The analyst will monitor project lifecycles, budget execution, and timeline adherence from a strategic viewpoint, identifying bottlenecks and advising on corrective actions. Key responsibilities include acting as a central liaison to harmonize efforts across organizational units and stakeholders, facilitating stakeholder engagement, training, and public promotion of strategic milestones. The position also requires performing ad-hoc duties as needed to address emerging challenges and support broader public financial management directives.
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in legal regulatory affairs and strategic management is required for candidates with a Master's degree. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require a minimum of 4 years of such experience.
