Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the effective management, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of the Poverty Reduction through Inclusive Development Program (PRIDP) in Pakistan. This involves supporting work plan development, activity planning and execution, procurement processes, and partner liaison. The role also entails ensuring the quality of progress reports, effective implementation of the M&E plan, and supervising project staff. Additionally, the coordinator will contribute to resource mobilization, partnership development with government, civil society, and private sector entities, and support research, communications, and advocacy initiatives related to poverty reduction and inclusive development. The position aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building among stakeholders to achieve program objectives and foster sustainable development outcomes.
Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator, reporting to the Assistant Resident Representative PRIU, will oversee project staff and ensure the effective management, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of the PRIDP. Key duties include supporting annual work plan preparation and revisions, planning and executing project activities, preparing necessary documentation, and facilitating procurement processes. The role involves regular liaison with partners for feedback, reviewing payment requests from implementing partners, and ensuring timely implementation of activities and disbursements. The coordinator will also review progress reports for quality, ensure the M&E plan is implemented with gender-disaggregated data, and conduct periodic stocktaking and lesson learned exercises. Furthermore, the position is responsible for identifying resource mobilization opportunities, developing strategic partnerships with government, civil society, and private sector counterparts, and providing technical assistance for PRIDP interventions. Active support for research, communications, and advocacy on poverty reduction, inclusive development, and knowledge sharing through training and workshops is also required.
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in managing and monitoring projects related to livelihoods, inclusive economic empowerment, and access to services is required for candidates with a Master's degree. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require a minimum of 4 years of such experience. Experience with computers, office software packages, and web-based management systems, including advanced spreadsheet and database skills, is necessary. Experience managing large-value projects and assets is also required.
