Job Purpose
This internship aims to support the achievement of objectives for the United Nations Joint Programme on Green and Climate Finance and the Climate Finance Network (CFN). The role will contribute to financing green growth and climate-resilient development in Lao PDR, and support climate finance reforms and private sector engagement. The intern will assist in advancing Lao PDR's progress towards its National Socio-Economic Development Plan and the Sustainable Development Goals. Responsibilities
The intern will provide crucial support across several key areas. This includes conducting background research and analysis on green and sustainable finance, collecting and analyzing best practices, and contributing to knowledge management. The role involves assisting with project support, including engagements with government counterparts, donors, and stakeholders, and contributing to concept notes and funding proposals. Additionally, the intern will support outreach activities and event facilitation.
