Job Purpose
The Grants Coordinator (Analyst) plays a crucial role in supporting the effective management and implementation of projects funded by grants. Responsibilities
The Grants Coordinator (Analyst) will be responsible for supporting the full grant lifecycle, including proposal development, budget monitoring, and financial reporting. Key duties involve tracking grant expenditures against budgets, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and UNDP policies, and preparing regular financial and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders. The role also entails coordinating with project teams to gather necessary information for reporting and grant management, assisting in the identification of potential risks and challenges related to grant implementation, and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies. Furthermore, the position supports the maintenance of accurate grant records and databases.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience in grant management, project coordination, or a similar role within an international organization or NGO is required. Experience with UNDP or similar UN agencies is highly desirable. Proven experience in financial monitoring and reporting is essential.
