Job Purpose
The Customer Service Clerk (Auxiliar de Atención al Público) serves as the primary point of contact for beneficiaries of the land titling and cadastre program in the Indio River basin. This role is crucial for providing efficient and timely guidance on program procedures and the status of applications. By managing inquiries, processing documentation, and channeling cases to the appropriate personnel, the position ensures smooth program operations and supports the project's objective of strengthening land tenure security and promoting sustainable development within the region. Responsibilities
The Customer Service Clerk will be responsible for attending to and orienting program beneficiaries, providing general information on procedures and application status, and registering inquiries, claims, and complaints. This includes channeling cases to responsible staff for follow-up. The role also involves supporting the management and filing of physical and digital records, updating control and tracking databases, and assisting with basic tasks such as document collation and form handling. Additionally, the position will support basic procedures related to property titles, manage public notices, and assist with logistical aspects of project activities, including organizing events and coordinating field activities. General administrative support, such as data entry, correspondence management, and document reproduction, is also required.
Work Experience
Experience in customer service or a similar public-facing role is implied. The position requires proven experience in handling 4x4 vehicles and the ability to navigate complex terrain safely, indicating a need for field experience.
