Job Purpose
This internship role supports the Communications, Innovation and Partnerships team at UNDP China. The intern will assist in creating and editing video and design products for various communication needs, including social media, project highlights, and event coverage. Responsibilities also include supporting video shooting, managing the organization's media library, drafting social media content, and assisting with live-streaming events. The position aims to enhance UNDP China's communication outreach and engagement through creative visual content, contributing to the team's overall objectives.
Responsibilities
Produce diverse video and design content, such as short social media videos, project wrap-up videos, and simple motion graphics, in both English and Chinese. Support video and photography for offline events and maintain the UNDP China video/photo library. Contribute to communications efforts by providing creative solutions through video and design. Manage live-streaming for events and collect relevant data. Draft content and design layouts for social media articles and posts on platforms like Weibo and WeChat. Prepare media summaries, communications reports, and other related documents. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Work Experience
Relevant and independent work experience in video editing, video shooting, design, media events, or social media campaigns is required. Experience with modern video/design styles and creating motion graphics is beneficial. Proficiency in video/design tools is expected.
Skills
Video editing, video shooting, design, motion graphics, social media content creation, live-streaming management, content drafting, layout design, proficiency in Premiere, Final Cut, Microsoft Office, and other online collaborative tools. Ability to learn new tools like Lumen5, Canva, and AI-based tools. Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Proactive, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and good interpersonal skills.
