Responsibilities extend to medical administration, including coordinating medical evacuations, managing medical clearances, sick leave, and reporting. The role involves establishing relationships with local medical facilities and ensuring proper confidential record-keeping. Furthermore, the Health Manager supervises the medical service team, manages daily operations, ensures availability of supplies and equipment, and oversees staff training and development. Advisory and liaison duties include briefing senior management on healthcare matters, representing the medical service, and overseeing health communication products.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical experience (with an advanced degree) or 7 years (with a first-level degree) is required. This includes residency/internship in a medical specialty, experience with international organizations, and two years of managerial experience in the medical field. Experience in occupational health is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical record systems and proficiency in MS Office are expected.
