Organizational Context

UN Women Myanmar Country Office implements the "Women's Resilience, Empowerment, Access, Capacities and Human rights (Women's R.E.A.C.H. Project)" to address the needs of GBV survivors and at-risk women. The project aims to increase resilience through integrated livelihoods and GBV prevention interventions, mitigating crisis effects and gender inequality. This role supports the Country Office in monitoring and reporting.

Job Purpose

The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst supports the UN Women Myanmar Country Office by integrating monitoring and reporting into programme formulation. This role is crucial for tracking progress against Strategic Plan targets and ensuring accurate reporting of results to both internal and external stakeholders. The position contributes to the effective implementation of the "Women's R.E.A.C.H. Project" by ensuring robust data collection, analysis, and dissemination, thereby enhancing programme effectiveness and accountability.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and contribute to programme formulation by developing monitoring indicators, calendars, and field plans, and incorporating evaluation findings. Provide technical support to partners in developing Performance Monitoring Frameworks and baseline surveys. Monitor and track results against country/regional targets and the UN Women Strategic Plan, coordinating data collection and analysis. Draft donor and programme reports, and support the planning and implementation of project evaluations. Provide technical support for the implementation of the project and UN Women's Evaluation Policy, coordinating evaluation plans and management responses. Contribute to knowledge building and capacity building by identifying and disseminating good practices and facilitating training on Results-Based Management and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Work Experience

Requires at least two years of progressively responsible experience in monitoring and reporting of development projects/programmes. Experience with UN systems, field experience, and proficiency in computer software (MS Word, Excel, databases, web-based management systems) are required. Experience with Oracle Cloud is desirable. Fluency in English and Myanmar is required.
