Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to enhance understanding among various stakeholders in Georgia regarding gender diversity promotion within their industries. UN Women seeks National Consultants/Trainers to develop or adapt training modules on gender equality and women's empowerment. These trainings will cover topics such as the root causes of inequality, legal frameworks, the WPS agenda, leadership, violence against women, and economic empowerment. The selected consultants will deliver training across Georgia, adapting content to target audiences and contributing to transformative results for increased gender equality and the protection of women's and girls' rights.
Responsibilities
Selected National Consultants/Trainers will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with UN Women's existing training modules on gender equality and women's empowerment. They will design or adapt training modules and sessions in consultation with UN Women staff for diverse target groups. Key duties include conducting trainings and awareness-raising activities across Georgia (urban and rural, online), delivering Training of Trainers (ToTs), and developing detailed work plans. Consultants will also create training needs assessment questionnaires, develop agendas, modules, presentations, and materials, and design pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning outcomes. Analysis of these assessments and the submission of a final training report with recommendations are required. Additionally, they will review policies, conduct policy analysis, and produce knowledge products on gender equality and women's empowerment to inform national strategies.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in gender equality and women's rights is required. This includes at least five years of experience delivering trainings on gender issues to diverse groups (government, civil society, private sector, grassroots) and proven experience in developing training manuals, modules, and programs. Familiarity with interactive learning methods and adult-learning techniques is essential.
