Job Purpose
The National Consultant for Logistic Support will provide crucial operational and logistical assistance for the "Mulheres Mil + Cuidados" project's political training sessions. This role involves managing the administrative and logistical processing of travel for project activities across all regions of Brazil. The consultant will ensure the smooth execution of travel arrangements, including booking flights, calculating per diems, and processing reimbursements, thereby facilitating the widespread implementation of training programs and supporting the project's objectives of enhancing women's economic autonomy and rights.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for the administrative and logistical processing of travel within the project, including processing travel requests in the UNALL system, booking flights via the Argo platform, and assisting in defining travel itineraries to optimize costs and logistics. They will calculate per diems and other travel-related expenses according to applicable norms and support the processing of travel advances and reimbursements. The role also involves monitoring travel status, managing ticket changes, and ensuring compliance with UN Women's policies and procedures. Additionally, the consultant will support the administrative and documentary management of travel, organize supporting documentation, and assist in related administrative processes such as drafting terms of reference for logistical services and supporting procurement processes for travel and events.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative and logistical support, particularly in processing travel arrangements and managing related documentation. Experience with UN systems or international organizations is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
