Organizational Context

UN Women Moldova is implementing its Country Strategic Note 2023-2027, focusing on ending violence against women, women's leadership, economic empowerment, and humanitarian action. The office supports women in public life to overcome persistent gender inequalities and stereotypes, aiming for their full and effective participation in decision-making processes, particularly in the context of EU integration.

Job Purpose

This role supports the UN Women Moldova Country Office's Academy for Women in Public Leadership. The purpose is to design and deliver an executive coaching component for women MPs, senior government officials, and mayors. The coaching aims to enhance participants' leadership authenticity, clarity, and impact, strengthen self-awareness and strengths-based leadership, build resilience and wellbeing, and translate individual growth into positive institutional and community change, contributing to gender equality in public life.

Responsibilities

The National Certified Executive Coach will design and deliver the executive coaching component for the Academy for Women in Public Leadership. This includes developing the coaching framework and methodology aligned with ICF standards, and delivering individual (1:1) coaching sessions for up to 30 participants focusing on leadership identity, purpose, strengths, decision-making, work-life integration, resilience, and wellbeing. Additionally, the role involves designing and facilitating group coaching sessions or leadership circles to promote peer learning and mutual support. The consultant will also develop a final report summarizing progress, outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future initiatives, while ensuring confidentiality.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles, is required to understand executive realities. Demonstrated experience in strengths-based and holistic coaching, focusing on leadership performance, wellbeing, and resilience, is essential. Proven experience in designing and coaching women leaders, especially in male-dominated environments, is also required. Experience in executive coaching of high-level decision-makers is an advantage.
