UN Women Moldova is implementing its Country Strategic Note 2023-2027, focusing on ending violence against women, women's leadership, economic empowerment, and humanitarian action. Despite progress, gender inequalities persist, with women under-represented in decision-making roles and facing persistent stereotypes. This role supports initiatives to strengthen women's leadership and participation in public life.

Job Purpose

This role serves to design and deliver an executive coaching component for the Academy for Women in Public Leadership in Moldova. The purpose is to equip women MPs, senior government officials, and mayors with enhanced leadership skills, self-awareness, resilience, and wellbeing. By fostering authenticity, clarity, and impact, the coaching aims to empower participants to lead effectively, translate individual growth into institutional and community change, and promote gender-responsive governance, contributing to Moldova's progress towards gender equality and sustainable development.

Responsibilities

Design and implement an executive coaching framework aligned with ICF standards, including intake, goal-setting, and assessment tools. Deliver individual coaching sessions (3-5 per participant) focusing on leadership identity, purpose, strengths, decision-making under pressure, work-life integration, resilience, and wellbeing for up to 30 participants. Facilitate group coaching sessions or leadership circles (up to 6) to promote peer learning and mutual support. Develop a comprehensive final report detailing aggregate progress, outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future initiatives, ensuring confidentiality throughout the process.

Work Experience

Requires at least 5 years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles, and demonstrated experience in strengths-based/holistic coaching focusing on leadership and wellbeing. Proven experience in designing and delivering female leadership programs or coaching women leaders is essential. Experience in executive coaching of high-level decision-makers is advantageous.
