Guided by its Country Strategic Note 2023-2027, the office focuses on ending violence against women, women's leadership, economic empowerment, and peace and security. This role supports initiatives to increase women's participation in decision-making and leadership roles.

Job Purpose

This consultancy aims to build the capacity of women leaders, including MPs, mayors, and executives, in negotiation, mediation, and conflict management. The consultant will develop and deliver tailored training programs using experiential methodologies. The purpose is to equip participants with essential skills to effectively navigate political and decision-making environments, strengthen their leadership capabilities, and promote gender-sensitive practices, ultimately contributing to more inclusive and representative societies in Moldova.

Responsibilities

The consultant will develop comprehensive learning modules and facilitation guides on negotiation techniques, mediation, and conflict management, adhering to international standards and adult learning principles. This includes designing experiential training activities like simulations and role-plays. The consultant will deliver at least six training sessions for up to 20 participants each. They will also develop and administer pre- and post-training questionnaires to assess knowledge acquisition and impact. Finally, a detailed final report summarizing achievements, lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations for future capacity-building efforts will be submitted.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing and delivering experiential training programs on negotiation, mediation, and/or conflict management for senior officials, parliamentarians, diplomats, or executives is required. Demonstrated experience using simulations, role-plays, and case-based methodologies for executive audiences is essential. Experience in political or institutional negotiation settings, and working with women leaders with sensitivity to gender dimensions, are advantageous.
