Despite progress, gender inequalities persist, and women remain under-represented in decision-making roles, facing persistent stereotypes.
Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to enhance the negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills of women in public leadership in Moldova. The consultant will develop and deliver tailored training programs for women Members of Parliament, mayors, and senior/middle management executives. The objective is to equip these women leaders with effective tools and strategies to navigate complex political and decision-making environments, foster gender-sensitive cultures, and strengthen their capacity to act as agents of change, contributing to more inclusive and representative societies.
Responsibilities
The consultant will develop comprehensive learning modules and methodologies on negotiation, mediation, and conflict management, adhering to international standards and adult learning principles. This includes designing experiential training activities such as simulations, role-plays, and case studies. The consultant will deliver up to six training sessions for participants, assessing knowledge through pre- and post-training questionnaires. Additionally, the consultant will prepare a final report detailing lessons learned, challenges encountered, and recommendations for future capacity-building initiatives, ensuring alignment with UN Women's objectives and best practices in experiential training.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing and delivering experiential training programs on negotiation, mediation, and/or conflict management for senior officials, parliamentarians, diplomats, or executives is required. Demonstrated experience with simulations, role-plays, and case-based methodologies for executive audiences is essential. Experience in political or institutional negotiation settings and working with women leaders is advantageous.
