Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to design and deliver a comprehensive training program for prospective assessors of the Gender Institutional Seal to Support and Empower Women in Jordan. The role is crucial for ensuring the credibility and consistency of the Gender Seal, a national framework promoting gender-responsive practices in public and private sector institutions. The consultant will equip assessors with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply the Seal's criteria, methodology, and ethical standards effectively, thereby contributing to the advancement of women's economic empowerment and gender equality in the workplace.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of an assessor training program for the Gender Institutional Seal. This includes reviewing and understanding the Seal's criteria, assessment model, and evidence requirements. Key tasks involve developing a detailed training agenda, preparing comprehensive training materials, and designing interactive exercises focused on evidence analysis, assessment judgment, interview techniques, scoring consistency, and ethical conduct. The consultant will facilitate the training, assess participants' readiness through practical exercises and simulations, and provide constructive feedback. Finally, the consultant will prepare a final report detailing the training implementation, participant performance, and providing recommendations to the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence (KACE) for the selection of qualified assessors.
Work Experience
A minimum of seven years of experience in gender equality, women's empowerment, excellence management, institutional excellence, organizational development, assessment, or related capacity-building is required. Experience in excellence management frameworks, quality management, organizational assessment, evidence-based review, or assessor calibration is desirable. Experience in facilitation, managing diverse groups, assessing performance, and providing feedback is also desirable.
