Job Purpose

This internship supports the UN Women Strategic Planning Unit (SPU) in its mission to deliver high-impact, data-driven results. The intern will contribute to corporate reporting, data analysis, digital platforms, strategic foresight, and results communication initiatives. The role aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and decision-making through effective data utilization and communication, aligning with the UN 2.0 agenda.

Responsibilities

Support annual reporting processes, including communication, capacity-building, and user support for country and regional offices. Assist in updating reporting guidance, FAQs, and templates. Conduct user acceptance testing for the PRISM system's annual reporting module. Maintain and validate corporate reporting datasets, including the global results database and Learning and Strategy Dashboard. Synthesize and communicate key results and performance insights. Contribute to AI-enabled reporting approaches. Support the maintenance and enhancement of the UN Women Transparency Portal, including content updates and quality assurance. Assist with strategic foresight initiatives, including socialization sessions and knowledge-sharing activities. Prepare external-facing foresight materials and communications.

Work Experience

No specific work experience is required for this internship. However, prior knowledge of Results-Based Management and experience with content management systems or digital knowledge platforms are considered assets.
