Job Purpose
The Monitoring and Reporting Consultant will support the UN Women Multi-Country Office (MCO) Caribbean in strengthening its monitoring and reporting functions. This involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of data within UN Women's internal systems, supporting the operationalization of the 2027-2031 Strategic Note Results Framework, and facilitating effective results monitoring and management reporting. The role also contributes to UN system coordination reporting and capacity development in gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation, ultimately supporting the achievement of UN Women's mandate across the region.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include conducting quality assurance of data in UN Women's PRISM system, verifying completeness and accuracy, and providing technical support for corporate reporting deadlines. The consultant will support the operationalization of the 2027-2031 Strategic Note Results Framework by ensuring data quality and providing inputs for evaluation plans and monitoring calendars. Additionally, the role involves supporting programme meetings for indicator monitoring, facilitating annual report drafting, and providing technical assistance to partners in developing monitoring frameworks and baseline surveys. The consultant will also consolidate results data, prepare management briefs, review partner reports, and support UN system coordination reporting, including the UNCT-SWAP Gender Scorecard and UN INFO entries, while also delivering capacity development on gender-responsive M&E.
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in monitoring and reporting of development projects/programmes at the national or international level is required. Alternatively, 4 years of experience with a first-level university degree is acceptable. Experience within the UN Caribbean context is considered an asset.
