UN Women in Morocco works to eliminate discrimination against women and girls, empower women, and achieve gender equality. The project "Ensuring quality, coordinated and accessible multisectoral services for survivors of violence and women and girls at risk (AAMINA)" aims to strengthen women's rights and institutional services for survivors of violence. This role supports the Ministry of Interior by enhancing the capacity of authority agents in andragogy and communication for effective training delivery.
Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to equip authority agents under the Ministry of Interior with essential andragogy, communication, and adult training design skills. The objective is to enable them to effectively deliver training and awareness programs on human rights, women's rights, and violence against women and girls. The consultant will develop and facilitate a training program that enhances the participants' ability to impart knowledge, foster skills, and adapt their methods to diverse audiences, ultimately strengthening the national response to gender-based violence.
Responsibilities
The consultant will develop a trainer-the-trainer methodology based on andragogy and participatory learning principles. This includes conducting a learning needs assessment and developing detailed training modules, materials, and presentations. The training content will integrate innovative approaches and interactive communication methods, such as case studies and role-playing. The consultant will facilitate a two-day training session in Rabat, focusing on adult learning principles, effective communication techniques, and the specific context of violence against women and girls. A pre-training assessment will gauge participants' knowledge, followed by a comprehensive final report detailing the training's execution, outcomes, and recommendations for future capacity building.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience in adult training and/or education is required. Experience in promoting women's rights, human rights, or in the field of violence against women and girls and/or gender equality in Morocco is considered an asset.
