Job Purpose
The WPS Programme Consultant will provide crucial administrative and operational support for the ESARO WPHF Project. This role contributes to the effective management of programme activities and administrative processes, ensuring the smooth running of project operations. The consultant will assist in gathering training materials, coordinating with partners, and providing essential logistical and financial support to advance the Women, Peace and Security agenda in the region.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and logistic support for the ESARO-WPHF Project, including preparing work plans, budgets, and proposals. Monitor project implementation and collect necessary data. Support budgetary planning, tracking, and financial management, including budget revisions, requisitions, and financial record-keeping. Assist in organizing conferences, workshops, and trainings, coordinating travel, and processing claims. Maintain organized digital filing of project documents. Support knowledge management by assisting in developing communication materials, documenting lessons learned, and preparing meeting reports.
Work Experience
Requires at least 6 years of progressively responsible work experience in monitoring, reporting, and/or evaluation. Experience working with UN agencies in East and Southern Africa is an asset. Proficiency in computer office software is required, as is experience supporting a team. Experience with ERP systems like Oracle Cloud is desirable.
