Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to provide technical and operational support for the planning, organization, and implementation of actions promoting the right to care, self-care, and co-responsibility. The role will contribute to developing an international event, facilitating territorial dialogue spaces, implementing the "Schools that Care" program, and strengthening capacities for women leaders and caregivers. The objective is to advance economic empowerment for women by improving access to comprehensive care policies and services, fostering gender equality, and supporting the construction of a National Care System in Peru.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and operational support for the organization and implementation of an international event on care, including coordination follow-up, material preparation, and results systematization. Support coordination with women's organizations, community leaders, local institutions, and other strategic actors for the implementation of territorial activities in Comas and Villa El Salvador. Collaborate in the organization and implementation of dialogue, awareness-raising, and dissemination spaces, supporting participant outreach, registration, and documentation. Assist in the implementation of the "Schools that Care" program in coordination with prioritized educational institutions. Support the development of capacity-building workshops for women leaders and caregivers in the prioritized districts, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards regarding methodology, gender, interculturality, and human rights.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in project implementation, social intervention, or gender equality initiatives is required. Experience in organizing events, facilitating workshops, and coordinating with local communities and stakeholders is highly desirable. Experience working with UN Women or other UN agencies is an asset.
