This role supports the communication and visibility of the National Commission's activities related to family and gender policy, aiming to raise public awareness.
Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to provide comprehensive communications support for the National Commission's activities in gender equality and women's empowerment through the end of 2026. The consultant will manage the official website and social media, cover events, monitor media, and engage experts to ensure timely dissemination of information on initiatives and achievements in family and gender policy, thereby increasing public awareness and visibility.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a communications plan for 2026, including engagement with media and influencers. Prepare and publish short video clips explaining gender and family policy issues. Disseminate press releases and media briefings on key events. Implement a social media strategy with regular posts, interactive content, and influencer collaborations. Manage the National Commission's website and social media pages. Cover field visits, meetings, and training sessions with photo and video materials. Monitor media and social media, providing monthly reports. Establish regular engagement with national media outlets, organizing expert participation and promoting articles on key thematic areas. Cooperate with the UN Women communications team to strengthen advocacy and public awareness efforts.
Work Experience
Requires at least 10 years of professional experience in journalism, media, public relations, or strategic communications. Demonstrated experience in website and social media management, and coordinating expert participation in media programs is essential. Experience with government institutions or international organizations is an asset.
