Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The Programme Consultant will lead the development and implementation of annual work plans for the AGCCI program, ensuring alignment with donor agreements and strategic priorities. Responsibilities include coordinating overall program delivery, liaising with key partners such as the African Union Commission, Member States, and the International Telecommunication Union, and providing technical support to implementing countries. The role involves leading advocacy and outreach initiatives, coordinating donor meetings, and strengthening partnerships with regional and country-level stakeholders. Additionally, the consultant will oversee program monitoring, ensure timely reporting, manage budgeting and financial planning, and provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, events, and missions. Contributions to resource mobilization strategies and proposal development are also key aspects of this role.
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years of work experience is required, with a demonstrated interest in the administrative and operational management of projects and programs related to Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GEWE), human rights, advocacy, coordination, and partnerships. Proficiency in MS Office applications and database management is essential. Experience in a multicultural environment and strong interpersonal skills are also necessary.
