The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) in Vienna seeks an intern to join the Publications, Outreach and Common Services team. Job Purpose
This internship aims to provide practical experience in multimedia production, public outreach, and event organization within the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA). The intern will support the Publications, Outreach and Common Services team by creating digital and print communication materials, editing multimedia content, assisting with public campaigns and events, and managing social media. Responsibilities
The intern will contribute to multimedia production by designing digital and printed communication materials (presentations, infographics, brochures, posters, banners, flyers, publications) using design software. Responsibilities include editing and producing videos, podcasts, and audio content, and creating simple data visualizations. The role involves supporting disarmament and non-proliferation education through updating e-learning materials and providing research and editing support. Public outreach activities include assisting in developing campaigns, creating content for webpages and social media, and managing social media accounts. Additionally, the intern will support the organization and coverage of events, including assisting with photos, filming, and preparing promotional materials.
Work Experience
