Quality Assurance Consultant - Manual Testing & Load Testing

Job Purpose

This consulting role supports a project focused on improving solid waste management at a national level in Bolivia. The purpose is to contribute to the development and implementation of more efficient and sustainable processes within the waste management sector. This involves updating information systems, integrating recyclers, developing management models for waste disposal sites, creating local waste management plans, and establishing pilot facilities, all aimed at fostering sustainable urban development and reducing inequality.

Responsibilities

The consultant will coordinate with the SIGIR Team to gather user stories and functional requirements. Key duties include creating test plans, designing and executing manual test cases (functional and exploratory), and documenting bug reports with detailed reproduction steps, severity, and priority. The role involves performing bug tracking, following up on defect resolution, and coordinating with the SIGIR Team for test case validation and product sign-off. Additionally, the consultant will execute load testing scenarios for various platforms (Web Portal, Recoverer/Recycler Portal, Mobile App) to ensure product readiness before production deployment.

Work Experience

A minimum of two years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance and Manual Testing is required. Demonstrated experience in designing and executing test cases based on user stories, functional testing, and exploratory testing is essential. Experience coordinating with development teams and product owners is also a requirement.
