Job Purpose

The role also involves analyzing web metrics and producing reports, contributing to the effective dissemination of UN information online. The internship duration is typically 3-6 months and can be flexible regarding work location.
Responsibilities
The intern will conduct web research on thematic issues and adapt content by rewriting or translating from English to Chinese. Responsibilities include assisting in updating websites using technologies like HTML, SHTML, CSS, WordPress, and Drupal. The intern will also help draft, format, edit, and post original website content and news stories, incorporating graphics, photos, and videos. Additionally, the role involves assisting in editing existing videos (subtitling or audio) and producing short videos. Utilizing multimedia communication and IT tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and digital editing tools is expected. The intern will also analyze data and web metrics to produce reports as needed.
Work Experience
Professional work experience is not required for this internship. However, a field of study closely related to the internship's focus is necessary. Applicants should have good knowledge of standard software applications like MS Word, Excel, and Teams. Experience with web-related tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
