Job Purpose
The Project Management Tool Implementation Lead will be responsible for the successful selection and implementation of a new project and program management tool for the Office of Investment Management (OIM). This involves engaging stakeholders across the organization, developing a strategic roadmap, managing change effectively, and meticulously tracking project progress through monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. The role is key to ensuring the tool is adopted and delivers its intended benefits, working closely with the Project Management Team to achieve project milestones and objectives within the expected six-month duration.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager will lead the selection and implementation of a project and program management tool. Key responsibilities include developing detailed process maps and future-state workflows, managing the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and creating vendor evaluation frameworks and reports. The role involves delivering regular executive status reports, project board presentations, KPIs, adoption dashboards, and risk/issue reports. Additionally, the Project Manager will establish a comprehensive project and program management framework, including governance, lifecycle, templates, and reporting standards. Collaboration with vendors for go-live planning, UAT, and deployment is essential, alongside developing standard operating procedures and a project closure report with lessons learned.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management and stakeholder engagement is required. Demonstrable experience leading one to three enterprise-wide project management tool implementations is essential. Experience within highly regulated or financial institutions is desired.
