Job Purpose
This role supports the design, development, and facilitation of vocational training programs in Nursing Care. The incumbent will contribute to curriculum development, including occupational analyses, learning materials, and integration of new technologies and career guidance. A key aspect is facilitating both school-based and work-based learning, ensuring inclusive practices for trainees with disabilities and special needs, and embedding Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills. The position involves designing and conducting formative and summative assessments, building employer linkages, utilizing labor market information, and applying quality assurance frameworks. The role also supports greening and digitalization initiatives within TVET programs and collaborates with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment and implement OSH measures.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine learning programs and curricula, including conducting competency analyses, drafting learning materials, and integrating new technologies and career guidance. Facilitate school-based and work-based learning by preparing training venues, utilizing facilities, selecting trainees, and developing inclusive lesson plans. Employ adult learning strategies, integrating trainees with disabilities and special needs, and mainstreaming Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills. Design and administer formative and summative assessments, including practice-based and knowledge-based tests, and develop assessment plans. Build relationships with employers and industry professionals, collect labor market information, and analyze skills needs. Apply quality assurance processes according to UNRWA's framework. Support greening and digitalization in TVET, designing and delivering relevant programs. Collaborate with staff to coordinate teaching, maintain a respectful environment, and implement OSH measures.
