Job Purpose
This role supports the Field Human Resources Department within UNRWA's West Bank Field Office. The incumbent will maintain and update HR records, process personnel actions, and assist in recruitment and performance management activities. The position contributes to the efficient administration of human resources, ensuring accurate data management and support for staff, aligning with UNRWA's mission to aid Palestine refugees. The role involves drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with HR procedures.
Responsibilities
Key duties include verifying and updating HR records, forms, and tables using the Human Resources Management (HRM) System. The role involves drafting routine correspondence, completing personnel action forms, and compiling data for statistical reports. Responsibilities extend to supporting recruitment processes, managing personnel contracts, and processing payroll-related data. Additionally, the incumbent will handle mail, maintain personnel files, assist with staff onboarding and queries, and participate in performance management activities, including system support and report generation.
Work Experience
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in human resources management or related administrative duties is required. Experience in data entry and HR systems is beneficial. Residency in West Bank or Jerusalem is desirable.

Proficiency in HR record keeping and data management. Ability to draft routine correspondence and reports. Experience with HR systems and processes. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Competencies include Planning and Organizing, Following Instructions and Procedures, Coping with Pressure and Setbacks, and Relating and Networking.
