Job Purpose
This internship aims to support the Environment and Development Division's communications and outreach initiatives, particularly concerning environmental analytics, meeting reporting, and urban climate resilience. The intern will transform findings and content into engaging visual and digital formats for web and social media, ensuring inclusive messaging. Key contributions include producing on-brand visual products like cards and slides, creating short videos, drafting outreach materials, and organizing photo and knowledge assets. The role also involves supporting outreach analytics and updating project webpages, contributing to the division's communication goals and the dissemination of critical environmental information.
Responsibilities
The intern will produce on-brand visual products, including quote cards, slide decks, and report layouts, from supplied content and brand guidelines. Responsibilities also include creating short video clips (30-60 seconds) and social media content from project activities, applying inclusive (Gender, Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion - GEDSI) messaging. The intern will organize and maintain photo and knowledge assets, ensuring quality assurance of image descriptions, captions, and accessibility outputs like subtitles. Additionally, the role involves supporting outreach analytics monitoring and updating project webpages and documentation under supervision.
Work Experience
