The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as the guardian of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), supports States Parties in their fight against corruption. The Corruption and Financial Crime Branch (CFB) works to address corruption at all levels by collaborating with governments, civil society, and the private sector. UNODC leads the annual global observance of International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD) to raise awareness and promote collective action.
Job Purpose
The Graphic and Motion Graphic Design Consultant will develop the global visual identity for the International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD) 2026 campaign. This role is crucial for producing high-quality creative assets, including an animated explainer video, social media materials, templates, and other multimedia content. The purpose is to ensure a consistent, engaging, and impactful visual identity that supports coordinated campaign implementation across all communication channels, thereby strengthening the visibility of UNODC's global anti-corruption efforts and promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability worldwide.
Responsibilities
Develop the overall visual identity for the IACD 2026 campaign, including creative concepts, design solutions, colour palette, and graphic elements, ensuring alignment with UNODC branding and campaign objectives. Create a comprehensive and adaptable campaign communications toolkit for UNODC headquarters, field offices, and partners, allowing for localization and translation while maintaining visual consistency. Design and produce a package of digital and print campaign materials, such as social media templates, visuals, and banners. Conceptualize, storyboard, design, and produce an animated explainer video (up to two minutes) with voice-over, subtitles, and sound design. Revise and refine all creative materials based on UNODC feedback, ensuring timely incorporation of comments. Deliver final design products in required formats, including editable source files and project files.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of professional experience in multimedia production and motion design is required. Proven knowledge of video and graphic software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Experience in an international environment or global media outlet is desirable.
