This role operates remotely and focuses on analyzing population enumeration and housing assessment data for evidence-based program planning and policy development within the agency.
Job Purpose
The Quantitative Analyst Consultant is responsible for analyzing data from the Dbayeh Camp Population Enumeration and Housing Assessment to produce a comprehensive report. This analysis will support evidence-based program planning and policy development by identifying key trends and programmatic implications. The consultant will conduct statistical analyses, interpret findings, and prepare high-quality documentation, including visualizations and a final report with recommendations, ensuring the data contributes to informed decision-making within the Relief and Social Services Department.
Responsibilities
The consultant will review and validate population enumeration and housing assessment datasets. Key duties include compiling, cleaning, and analyzing quantitative data using appropriate statistical methods. Developing reproducible analytical workflows and well-documented code is essential for future analysis updates. The role involves producing statistical tables, charts, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Analysis will focus on demographic, socioeconomic, housing, and vulnerability variables to identify trends and interpret programmatic implications. The consultant must prepare technical documentation detailing the methodology and produce a comprehensive analytical report with conclusions and recommendations, revising outputs based on feedback and presenting findings to management as needed.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of progressive experience in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, survey analysis, or data science is required. Experience analyzing household surveys, census, or population datasets is essential. Proficiency in R and/or Stata for statistical analysis and data processing is required, along with experience producing high-quality statistical tables, charts, and visualizations.
