Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Coordinate and guide teams in the construction and maintenance of essential infrastructure such as roads, drainage systems, and helipads. Train skilled and unskilled laborers and equipment operators to ensure effective execution of works. Monitor project progress, identify and report delays or risks, and ensure strict compliance with quality and safety standards. Maintain detailed daily site logs for materials, workforce attendance, and equipment utilization. Assist with delivery inspections, inventory control, and site layout planning in collaboration with surveyors and engineers. Proactively identify and resolve technical or operational issues arising on site. Prepare progress reports and support project close-out activities. Enforce environmental protection and occupational safety practices rigorously.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of experience is required in supervising civil construction projects, particularly those involving heavy construction equipment. Familiarity with construction methods, site safety protocols, and quality assurance practices is essential. Prior experience with UN or in international field operations is considered an advantage.
