The International Trade Centre (ITC), part of the UN Secretariat, is seeking a consultant to support its Partnerships Task Force (PTF). Job Purpose
The Partnerships Outreach Consultant will provide essential operational and coordination support to the ITC's Partnerships Task Force (PTF). This role is vital for implementing the PTF's outreach strategy and ensuring effective, organised engagement with prospective and existing private sector partners, foundations, and financial institutions. The consultant will help align these engagements with ITC's strategic priorities and value proposition, contributing directly to the success of the 2027 Global SME Ministerial Meeting and advancing co-creation and co-investment solutions. The position requires diligent maintenance of partnership pipelines and coordination of interactions to foster new collaborations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the Partnership Pipeline Tracker, categorising and mapping potential partners, and consolidating contact information. The consultant will adapt engagement materials, draft outreach communications, and coordinate meeting logistics. They will track partner responses and engagement progress, flagging critical issues for the PTF. Regular status updates, briefing notes, and summary reports for the PTF are required. Additionally, the role involves supporting the documentation of confirmed partnerships, assisting with announcement materials, and preparing for Ministerial-related activities. The consultant will also perform other duties to support the PTF's work programme and ensure all necessary permissions for intellectual property are obtained.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in partnership development, resource mobilisation, business development, or stakeholder engagement is necessary. Experience coordinating outreach activities with multiple stakeholders, including the private sector, is essential. Familiarity with CRM or pipeline-tracking tools and supporting high-level events is highly desirable.
Skills
Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), discretion in handling sensitive information. Familiarity with CRM/data visualisation tools is an asset.
